The Infernal Devices (A Review)

Hello again peeps! Today I'm doing a review on my favorite book series EVER!!! So bear with me, because it's gonna get a little cray-cray, if you know what I mean. ;)

If you guys haven't noticed that I now have music at the top of the page, then you have now! Those are my favorite songs based on books, and my FAVORITE is the first song called "Fire and Ice" by Olivia Bray. Can you guess what books that song is based on? Yep, it's based on The Infernal Devices. ;P Just FYI, here is the list of songs and also what books they are based on:

~"Fire and Ice" by Olivia Bray is based on TID (The Infernal Devices)
~"Warrior" by Beth Crowley is based on TMI (The Mortal Instruments)
~"Midnight" by Beth Crowley is based on The Lunar Chronicles
~"How it Ends" by Beth Crowley is based on City of Lost Souls in TMI.
~"Come Alive" by Beth Crowley is based on City of Heavenly Fire in TMI.

So yeah, there you go! If there is any other book-based songs that you love, go ahead and comment! I'd definitely add it onto the list of songs! (As long as it's appropriate.)
Anyway, I should probably get back to the review! LOL! XP

I love The Infernal Devices because Cassandra Clare develops her characters so well! Plus, my fictional boyfriend, James Carstairs, is in it, so...that definitely gives it some awesomeness! Also, it takes place in the Victorian Era, in London. You probably want to know what it is ABOUT, so here is the (short) summary that I am getting off of Wikipedia.
"The series follows Tessa Gray, an orphaned teenage girl who discovers she has the power to shapeshift, but doesn't bear a mark that shows she is a warlock, and abilities that plunge her into a world she never knew existed. She will have to learn to master them if she wants to find her brother Nate and she will have to forge an alliance with Shadowhunters if she wants to survive in this dangerous world.
The trilogy features Will Herondale, James (Jem) Carstairs, Theresa (Tessa) Gray, and other Downworlders and Shadowhunters in the London Institute."
Below are some of my favorite quotes from this series:
Okay, I need to stop. Otherwise, I'll be posting all the quotes and then you guys won't even need to read it! LOL!
Now, some pictures! LOL!

My First Lyrics Video!!!!

Hey guys! Guess what! I MADE A LYRICS VIDEO LAST NIGHT!!! It took me HOURS, but I still finished it! It has the lyrics to my favorite song based on my favorite books, The Infernal Devices. The song itself is called "Fire and Ice" by Olivia Bray. I love it so much that I wanted to make my own lyrics video! Please give me some view and likes!
If you are too lazy to go to YouTube, then go ahead and watch it right here. Sorry if there's a couple mistakes in it. :/ I tried to get all the effects to be the same, and then the chorus different, but sometimes it just fades in and out. I tried. -.- Anyway, please give this a like!

The Lunar Chronicles (A Review)

'Ello peeps! I did a guest post on Simi's blog for a contest that she was having for DE BEST BOOK REVIEW! So, I review The Lunar Chronicles! Instead of having all of you guys go and search for the review on her blog, I'm just gonna copy and paste what I wrote and put it on here for you guys! Here is my review:

Hello everyone! My name is Trinity and I am from Lord’s Girls. If you wish to visit me and read my nonsense ramblings, then you can just type in lordsgirls.blogspot.com and it’ll take you there! The internet is wonderful, is it not? Yet however wonderful you think it may be, it is not as amazingly amazing as BOOKS!!! Have you heard of The Lunar Chronicles? The three books that are out so far are titled Cinder, Scarlet, and Cress, with the fourth book that is coming out this fall named Winter. Let me just tell you, I am SO EXCITED to get my hands on that beautiful book! Anyway, enough of that! I bet you are sitting there reading this and just dying to know why I love these books so much and why I chose them for this review. :)

These books are about classic fairy tales such as Cinderella (Cinder), Red Riding Hood (Scarlet), Rapunzel (Cress), and Snow White (Winter) all combined together into one series. It’s really hard to explain all of this in one paragraph, so I’m going to get some professional help from Wikipedia! (LOL) Here it is: “The Lunar Chronicles is a series of five young adult fantasy novels by American author Marissa Meyer. Each book entails a new take on an old fairy tale, including Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel and Snow White. The story takes place in a futuristic world where humans, cyborgs, and androids all coexist.”
I love this series so much because of how the characters react to certain situations, and how Marissa Meyer actually gave the characters personality! I’m sure that all of you are really skeptical (just like I was) about reading these books, because this doesn’t sound very interesting, but it really TRULY is amazing! When my friend recommended this book to me, I almost didn’t even read it. After all, it sounds really weird. :) But you should really read it! Just give it a chance!
My favorite characters are Cinder, Kai, Cress, Carswell, and Jadin. You’ll meet all of them over the course of the three books. ;) I also really like these books because they have romance in them, but not THAT kind. Not the kind that is in most YA books, because that is just nasty. Bleh! :D It’s just the average fairy tale stuff, really. :)
Below are some quotes that I love from these books! Sometimes, I just have to :D :

Trinity Star rating: ***** (5 stars)
Not surprising, is it? ;)

Thank you so much Simi for asking me to do this guest post! I really enjoyed doing it, and I hope that this review helps others about their new to be read list, because after all of these posts I’m sure that a lot of people will have one! Anywho, I am sad to be saying: Goodbye and thanks for reading! :)

What I'm Doing Here

I bet all of you are wondering if it's really me, the girl from Lord's Girls, and what I'm doing with this blog. Well, the answers are that yes, it is truly Trinity from Lord's Girls and I'm here because I wanted to have a separate blog for all my fangirling, because a lot of you readers from Lord's Girls would probably not want me to start posting about all the books that I read and stuff, considering Lord's Girls is supposed to be about Jesus and how he died on the cross and my journey through life.
So, that's what I'm doing here. To ramble on and on about all my favorite books and movies and such. XD It's gonna be a little crazy around here, so buckle up and read with caution.
