New Everything + BOOKS!!!

Hey guys! I'm so excited for this post! It's kind of an updating post, but I'm also including the usual stuff (aka fangirling), so it'll be goooooooddddd. ;) Let's start this thin'!
I've been working on a book with my friends, and we've made a whole collection of accounts, including FictionPress, Wattpad, and an email account. I think I'm speaking for all of us when I say that we'd LOVE it if you could find us and read our story on FictionPress or Wattpad, and even give us some constructive criticism! Our account username for Wattpad is "throneofmortalroses", and our account for FictionPress is "throneofmortalroses473". Can you guys guess the combination of the three books that we used in our name? Comment if you think you can guess. ;)
Our story is about an immortal named Hiraeth that is...ugh. I REALLY hate explaining things. Well, if you want more details, you can either just email me, or just read our story! XD To save you some trouble, I'll give you an excerpt from our prologue in Ameliorate below.

"My reverie was cut short when the shouting began. There was no warning when the last drops of sunlights were swallowed by a heavy darkness. Everything was engulfed in shadows. Panic began to fill me and I could feel the adrenaline coursing through my veins. The blackness was pressing down with a pressure so intense that I could hardly breathe, much less move more than a few steps. Perspiration gathered on my brow.
"After him!" cried a man from behind.
I didn't think as I rushed after the apparition-like figure, my bones creaking with the sheer effort needed to move. Blood roared through my ears and my chest tightened painfully. I sprinted to catch up, leaping over a stack of crates and making a sharp turn onto a crumbling green, gabled rooftop. I was almost there when suddenly, they stopped.
Every one of my instincts screamed at me to sprint in the opposite direction, to get away while I still could, but I stood frozen, fascinated at the sight before me. It was difficult to decipher due to their slight stature, yet the figure before me looked to be a mere child, around 16-18 years of age, I guessed. The teen collapsed as if his legs gave out, gripping his head and shaking violently on the ground. That warning sensation came back in full force as I gazed in realization. Horror filled my head, clouding my senses so that I could not think clearly.
I stepped backwards and a soft crack resounded, though it seemed like a gunshot; I had mistakenly broken a twig with my boot. Time slowed to a stop. The child's head snapped up immediately and our gazes met. Raven hair framed the boy's delicate features and amber irises that appeared to glow like molten lava bore into me. I was no stranger to magic; in fact, it was my own ability to resist it that had allowed me to get up when the others could not, and I knew a magic user when I saw one. It was a fairly common thing to have, but I could tell there was nothing normal about this creature before me. I was hesitant to call this boy a child of any sort, yet there was no other term for which to use.
The shadows seemed to rise out of the ground and coalesce, whipping around in a maelstrom of wind and power, with the teen and I in its center. I grabbed a small weapon, a knife, out of the sheath on my belt and, with less than a moment of hesitation, threw it as hard as I could at the raging storm threatening to tear my body to shreds. The knife soared true. The blade nicked the boy's cheek and the whorl of darkness faltered. My victory at knowing I could harm him was short-lived. In the short window of time I had gained, I could see, to my horror, the cut slowly healed, leaving pale skin unblemished."

Oh, don't worry, there's more. ;P You'll just have to go and read it on Wattpad or FictionPress. Anyway, one down, a couple more things to go!
I don't think that I've ever mentioned just how much I LOVE twenty one pilots! They are seriously my favorite band right now, and they'll probably going to stay that way. If you've never heard of twenty one pilots, listen to these songs RIGHT NOW! This first one is their most popular song, as it's on the radio.
Oh gosh, I love them! I'll just post TWO more songs from YouTube. :P
They just have SUCH a different sound and they create so MANY good tunes to go with their thought-provoking words.
Anyway, I did have a point with all of this. I have some VERY EXCITING NEWS!!!!! As some of you may know, my birthday was kind-of recently, so one of my presents were..............TICKETS TO ONE OF THEIR CONCERTS!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm taking my friend with me and we're going to go to the Mall of America and spend the weekend there. The concert that I'm going to is in St.Paul on July 29th! I just can't wait!!! I'm afraid that I might creep you guys out, so I think I should stop at this.
Okay, two down. Next thing I'm going to tell you guys is that I uploaded another lyrics video to YouTube! The song is called "House of Memories" by Panic! At The Disco, and I must say, it is definitely one of my top favorites from P!ATD. Here's the video. It would mean so much to me if you liked or commented on the video! (Something happened though, so the sound changes at the beginning of the video. I tried to fix it, but...:/)
Next thing: I CANNOT WAIT FOR MAY!!!!!!! Do you want to know why? Why of course you do, because otherwise you wouldn't be reading this post! XD Anywho, May is when...

  • Captain America: Civil War comes out on May 6th
  • A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas comes out on May 3rd
  • The Crown by Keira Cass comes out on May 3rd
  • The Trails of Apollo by Rick Riordan comes out on May 3rd
  • School will almost be over (but high school...ehhhhhhhhhhhhh, yeah no.)
Did you guys catch the pattern? THREE BOOKS COME OUT ON MAY 3RD!!!!!! I do NOT have enough money for this. Ugh. :'( I've already pre-ordered A Court of Mist and Fury, but as for everything else...I'm gonna be broke. Ooh! That leads me to the next thing...and the last, for now. ;)
I'm going to Disney World next year!!!! For band, we get to perform in Disney World during Spring Break! So yeah, that'll be fun.
Sorry guys, but I'm just so drained of energy right now. Could you tell that I simmered down throughout the post? XP Welp, goodbye and LISTEN TO THOSE VIDEOS UP DERE M'KAY?!!?!?!?!?!

My Second Lyrics Video!!!

Hey guys! A couple of weeks ago I spent a day making another lyrics video. The song that I used was "Up in Flames" by Ruelle. The reason why I chose that song to make the music video was because I believe that "Up in Flames" should be THE theme song for the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas. Seriously guys, this song is sooooo perfect for it. Sometimes I forget that this song was not originally based on ToG, that's how similar it is! If you read Throne of Glass, and you agree with me, then give this video a thumbs up! It would mean so much to me if you would! You could either watch it on YouTube right off the bat, or you can watch it down below.

   Thanks for watching!

The Selection Series (A Review)

Hello again, people from this world. Today I'm going to be posting a review about...*drumroll*

THE SELECTION SERIES!!!!

I just adore these books so much, you just don't even know! Seriously, the fifth book, The Crown, is coming out in May and I CAN'T POSSIBLY WAIT!!! Anyway, I need to keep on track. The reason I love these books is because the plot centers around romance and finding your true love, but it is so much more than just that. Kiera Cass surprised all of us by releasing The Heir this year, and we all thought that this series was merely a trilogy, but we got lucky! XD Anywho, here is a short summary of The Selection (the first book) from Kiera Cass's website:

"For thirty-five girls, the Selection is the chance of a lifetime. The opportunity to escape the life laid out for them since birth. To be swept up in a world of glittering gowns and priceless jewels. To live in the palace and compete for the heart of the gorgeous Prince Maxon.
But for America Singer, being Selected is a nightmare. It means turning her back on her secret love with Aspen, who is a caste below her. Then America meets Prince Maxon. Gradually, she starts to question all the plans she's made for herself—and realizes that the life she's always dreamed of may not compare to a future she never imagined."

Like always, I just must include some quotes from this amazing series!

As I stated before, The Crown is coming out May 3rd, I believe.

Also, I ordered Happily Ever After on Amazon, so I should be getting it soon.

What Happily Ever After is, you might wonder, a collection of novellas about Prince Maxon, Queen Amberly, etc. I can't wait to read it! Have any of you read it? How amazing is it really?
Anyway, I should probably wrap this up saying: You should definitely look into finding these books to read them so you can be prepared to read The Crown!

The Infernal Devices (A Review)

Hello again peeps! Today I'm doing a review on my favorite book series EVER!!! So bear with me, because it's gonna get a little cray-cray, if you know what I mean. ;)

If you guys haven't noticed that I now have music at the top of the page, then you have now! Those are my favorite songs based on books, and my FAVORITE is the first song called "Fire and Ice" by Olivia Bray. Can you guess what books that song is based on? Yep, it's based on The Infernal Devices. ;P Just FYI, here is the list of songs and also what books they are based on:

~"Fire and Ice" by Olivia Bray is based on TID (The Infernal Devices)
~"Warrior" by Beth Crowley is based on TMI (The Mortal Instruments)
~"Midnight" by Beth Crowley is based on The Lunar Chronicles
~"How it Ends" by Beth Crowley is based on City of Lost Souls in TMI.
~"Come Alive" by Beth Crowley is based on City of Heavenly Fire in TMI.

So yeah, there you go! If there is any other book-based songs that you love, go ahead and comment! I'd definitely add it onto the list of songs! (As long as it's appropriate.)
Anyway, I should probably get back to the review! LOL! XP
Image result for Characters in The Infernal Devices
I love The Infernal Devices because Cassandra Clare develops her characters so well! Plus, my fictional boyfriend, James Carstairs, is in it, so...that definitely gives it some awesomeness! Also, it takes place in the Victorian Era, in London. You probably want to know what it is ABOUT, so here is the (short) summary that I am getting off of Wikipedia.
"The series follows Tessa Gray, an orphaned teenage girl who discovers she has the power to shapeshift, but doesn't bear a mark that shows she is a warlock, and abilities that plunge her into a world she never knew existed. She will have to learn to master them if she wants to find her brother Nate and she will have to forge an alliance with Shadowhunters if she wants to survive in this dangerous world.
The trilogy features Will Herondale, James (Jem) Carstairs, Theresa (Tessa) Gray, and other Downworlders and Shadowhunters in the London Institute."
Below are some of my favorite quotes from this series:
Okay, I need to stop. Otherwise, I'll be posting all the quotes and then you guys won't even need to read it! LOL!
Now, some pictures! LOL!

My First Lyrics Video!!!!

Hey guys! Guess what! I MADE A LYRICS VIDEO LAST NIGHT!!! It took me HOURS, but I still finished it! It has the lyrics to my favorite song based on my favorite books, The Infernal Devices. The song itself is called "Fire and Ice" by Olivia Bray. I love it so much that I wanted to make my own lyrics video! Please give me some view and likes!
If you are too lazy to go to YouTube, then go ahead and watch it right here. Sorry if there's a couple mistakes in it. :/ I tried to get all the effects to be the same, and then the chorus different, but sometimes it just fades in and out. I tried. -.- Anyway, please give this a like!

The Lunar Chronicles (A Review)

'Ello peeps! I did a guest post on Simi's blog for a contest that she was having for DE BEST BOOK REVIEW! So, I review The Lunar Chronicles! Instead of having all of you guys go and search for the review on her blog, I'm just gonna copy and paste what I wrote and put it on here for you guys! Here is my review:

Hello everyone! My name is Trinity and I am from Lord’s Girls. If you wish to visit me and read my nonsense ramblings, then you can just type in lordsgirls.blogspot.com and it’ll take you there! The internet is wonderful, is it not? Yet however wonderful you think it may be, it is not as amazingly amazing as BOOKS!!! Have you heard of The Lunar Chronicles? The three books that are out so far are titled Cinder, Scarlet, and Cress, with the fourth book that is coming out this fall named Winter. Let me just tell you, I am SO EXCITED to get my hands on that beautiful book! Anyway, enough of that! I bet you are sitting there reading this and just dying to know why I love these books so much and why I chose them for this review. :)

These books are about classic fairy tales such as Cinderella (Cinder), Red Riding Hood (Scarlet), Rapunzel (Cress), and Snow White (Winter) all combined together into one series. It’s really hard to explain all of this in one paragraph, so I’m going to get some professional help from Wikipedia! (LOL) Here it is: “The Lunar Chronicles is a series of five young adult fantasy novels by American author Marissa Meyer. Each book entails a new take on an old fairy tale, including Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel and Snow White. The story takes place in a futuristic world where humans, cyborgs, and androids all coexist.”
I love this series so much because of how the characters react to certain situations, and how Marissa Meyer actually gave the characters personality! I’m sure that all of you are really skeptical (just like I was) about reading these books, because this doesn’t sound very interesting, but it really TRULY is amazing! When my friend recommended this book to me, I almost didn’t even read it. After all, it sounds really weird. :) But you should really read it! Just give it a chance!
My favorite characters are Cinder, Kai, Cress, Carswell, and Jadin. You’ll meet all of them over the course of the three books. ;) I also really like these books because they have romance in them, but not THAT kind. Not the kind that is in most YA books, because that is just nasty. Bleh! :D It’s just the average fairy tale stuff, really. :)
Below are some quotes that I love from these books! Sometimes, I just have to :D :

Trinity Star rating: ***** (5 stars)
Not surprising, is it? ;)

Thank you so much Simi for asking me to do this guest post! I really enjoyed doing it, and I hope that this review helps others about their new to be read list, because after all of these posts I’m sure that a lot of people will have one! Anywho, I am sad to be saying: Goodbye and thanks for reading! :)
